Did you initiate this? Did they? If someone out of the blue messages you it’s almost always a scam in my opinion. I’d use localmonero with a verified seller. I trust that more than KYC
Telegram allows scammers to operate basically unhindered. The platform's code of conduct is like three lines long. I found it hard to believe that such a popular service can get away having such sketchy rules. It is probably the least tightly controlled platform with any significant popularity. In fact, that might be part of the reason for its popularity. Trust your instincts. If something doesn't smell right, just move on. You are under no obligation to trade with anyone.
Dont do it bro
But but... He's paying 1 million dollars per XMR. It must be worth it /s
There's no reason to do such things afterall, I mean who needs KYC in today's time

LocalMonero is a pretty nice option to go for, as this is the only better alternative than that of KYCs
they want you to switch chat apps so they can hand you off to a different person. one of many warning flags that this is likely a scam.
Oh I know this guy. He is a Princ. I'm in touch with him via Emails.
Use Session messenger to communicate setup. Use localmonero as a go-between escrow. Keep all messages relating to payment on localmonero.
Session is 100% compromised
If you have to ask
It’s to protect him most likely. Telegram is supposed to be an encrypted messenger, but it gets compromised.

Scammers seem to love telegram.
Don't be dumb. If you bite the obvious scam, kiss that Monero goodbye.

I use telegram to communicate with my friends that hate everything about facebook as well as contacting people for drug deals. Never had a scammer.
