I’m new to fragrance’s can anyone tell me a fragrance the smells like fresh blue mens shower gel? I know that’s odd but I don’t know how else to explain it
something really clean, aquatic and floral? ive never worn any fragrance before, but the shower/candle scents ive liked have always been either aquatic and almost “fresh laundry”esque or clean and floral (lanvender, ylang ylang, jasmine, lotus ect) :) i dont mind between perfume or cologne, so recommendations of either are fine
Hello planning to buy perfume or anything scented for 2 people. The first is my best friend and she likes vanilla and woody scents. Then, I’m planning to buy for her mom too. Her mom likes floral and musk. She also likes citrus scents. What do you recommend? Hopefully not something so expensive and the more affordable the better. Thank you!(we live in a humid weather in Asia)
I love light unisex floral scents such as Tulipe, mojave ghost and Inflorescence from Byredo. They don't last tho. I'm looking at Gris dior. Any good light(can be slightly sweet, woody, fruity, etc) but I want the floral note to stand out?
I love the dry down scent of Serge Lutens Un Lys. A sort of creamy, musky, vanilla. I'm not as crazy about the lillies--any recommendations for something that captures the soft, subtle, bottom notes?
Haven’t tried serge Lutens so I can’t compare— but montblanc signature is creamy, cozy, musky, and vanilla. I recommend trying out a sample! It’s one of my favs 🤎
Does anyone know something similar to Michael Malul’s Jet Black Enigma? I’m fairly sure it’s discontinued now but I love the scent, not a fan of the brand all that much though.
More feminine/unisex version of Dylan Blue. Is the Pour Femme version what Im looking for or is there something more akin to that aquatic patchouli dna of the masc?
I love Noir De Noir, but my 2015 bottle is almost done. Is it worth rebuying? I've heard the performance is not what it used to be and I don't know if I can get a sample of the most recent batch while I'm in Canada.
I'd love a good club/going out fragrance that stands out but lasts long. I'm 18 so it doesnt have to be a real classy perfume but I do want to smell mature. I have had dior sauvage and I loved it, so something that smells like that would be great. Thanks in advance, if you need to know more let me know (Budget is around 120 eur max)
Im new to fragrances and would like to have a nice everyday cologne. I’m ballin on a budget and can pay maybe $130 max. Last month I bought a couple 15ml bottles to try. I tried Dior Sauvage EDP and Versace Eros EDT. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Eros. I felt like it was too sweet and didn’t have a lot of staying power. I really liked Sauvage. It seemed more masculine and clean. I just don’t like how ubiquitous it is. Personally, I have multiple friends that wear it, and regardless of how petty this sounds, I don’t want to smell exactly the same as all my friends. Any beginner fragrances I can try that would fit with me? I want to try YSL Y EDT but I have no idea. Any tips or suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
I think if it's very hot where you live and you're on a budget then azzaro chrome or its flankers or nautica voyage(honestly for summer freshies theres so many options both under 130 or just cheap). If you wanna splurge and go fully upto $130 I think bvlgari aqva is a good scent(kinda like watermelons on a beach to me). If its not too hot then the givenchy gentleman line is good stuff. Honestly there's a lot of fragrances, just watch a YouTube video or two
30/M, will happily take suggestions on light, cooling, refreshing summer scents. I'm hoping to branch out a little from traditional citruses and try scents that are more tropical, icy, or fruity/floral.
Hey guys i have Versave dylan blue already and want a good second choice to have some different choices looking to spend 60-80 Max sorry i am younger and cant justify spending anymore than that
I need a lilac scent. Maybe with a bit of cherry blossom, apple blossom, and/or lavender in there. Ideally with a base of Oud, Sandaldwood, and Tobacco, in an extrait or attar, using absolutes not oils. Anything along the lines of a boozy, roasty, ripe floral?
looking for a fruity, green grape, champagne scent! I have a champagne body spray that smells like a green grape jolly rancher but I’m looking for a more feminine fragrance
YSL Libre EdP Armani Privé Rouge Malachite Mugler Alien TF Black Orchid Givenchy L’Interdit Rouge Francesca Bianchi Sex and the Sea Neroli LV Ombre Nomad to name a few!
Want to try a new perfume! 22F Please recommend some for warm weather! ( im not really that big of a fan of heavy florals- I think. I am still new to fragrances)
Versace : Yellow Diamond or Dylan Turquoise Armani: Agua de Gioia EDP Eilish: Billie Eilish Maybe??? Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Forever (orange blossom note makes all the difference from the original, trust me)
Hey, community. Still new, still learning. Ran into a guy who smelled like spicy green evergreens in the rain. I asked what he was wearing and he pulled a stick of Aluminum Free Speed stick deodorant out. I was kinda shocked but I like what I like haha
I think Guerlain Santal Royal has some similarities if my memory serves me correctly. It’s rose instead of the raspberry in ON, though, and I remember thinking I liked ON more. Might be worth checking out, though.
Recently fallen in love with Sedley but get pretty poor performance from it—can anyone recommend a better performing woody/citrus lavender with the masculine Amber backbone?
I'd love a good club/going out fragrance that stands out but lasts long. I'm 18 so it doesnt have to be a real classy perfume but I do want to smell mature. I have had dior sauvage and I loved it, so something that smells like that would be great. Thanks in advance, if you need to know more let me know

I’m looking for a sweet lemon fragrance. Something more reminiscent of lemonade, or a lemon candy, rather than zesty lemon peel. It doesn’t need to be even the slightest bit subtle, all genders are fine.
I am looking for similar perfumes to Reminiscence Oud. I'm a 31 year old man but quite like unisex or even feminine fragrances and while I wouldn't call this a super heavy oud fragrance at all I just love how uplifting it is. It smells regal and floral but also spicy and woody. What are some of your favorite oud/saffron/rose perfumes that are unisex or maybe more high quality similiar style fragrances. Here are the specifications for this perfume:
Is there a fragrance that smells like the opening of L’Homme Ultime, but that lasts longer than just the first hour? The opening is so gorgeous, one of my favorite scents ever
If you like Gucci Bloom then try Diptyque Do Son, Nasomatto Narcotic V. For similar to L’interdit try Armani My Way. For something different check out Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotic, Mancera Wild Python, Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad, Armani Prive Rouge Malachite, Amouage Love Tuberose, Rogue Perfumery Champs Lunaires, Guerlain Terracotta, Van Cleef & Arpels California Reverie.
Looking for fresh summer scents, less on the side of sweet, blue, aquatic scents, and more to the side of citrus notes, or even barbershop scents. I like TF Grey Vetiver, and Terre D'Hermes EDT, of which I own both. Also enjoy Acqua Di Parma Colonia, Colonia Futura, etc, but those do not last long enough on me to justify buying them.
I would second Bohemian Lime and add Nishane Hacivat, which is very long lasting in my experience. You might also like Creed Viking, which could fit what you are looking for in a fall/winter scent. It is ridiculously overpriced, though.
21M Any recommendations for Rich, Woody, Amber mysterious signature scents? It can be the typical oud and rose combo but I want something that is wearable and not too animalic, dark, or too "old"
hi, girly girl here that just used up a whole bottle of ariana grande's cloud and loved it. looking for something delicate, sugary sweet, and girly, very lolita esque. nothing super floral or heavy and overwhelming!
Did you try REM too? I'd recommend trying a sample to see if you like it, REM is very marmite with some people but I think if you like cloud you might like that :)
Looking for a fragrance that is woody, a stroll through a forest after it just rained. But at the same time, I don't want it to be over the top earthy or intense.
I quite like Phaedon Black Vetiver, its starts with tart fruit but settles into a very nice vetiver scent. I'm also a big fan of DS&Durga St. Vetyver but I feel like that is a bit of a unique take on vetiver. For sandalwood I have been enjoying Acqua di Parma Sandalo because it is the closest thing to the sandalwood scents I remember from my childhood. I think Serge Lutens Chergui is the only tobacco fragrance I have tried so I'll go with that.
I’m a really big fan of Aqua di Gio, but I’m not a fan of how short it lasts. Does anyone have any recs for a longer lasting cologne? Something that would work for both everyday and going out situations

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male ?
Hi, I’m a guy looking for a cheap fresh fragrance for any occasion (budget:$45-$50) that I can blind buy.
Cant decide between ultra male and xerjoff kobe. Price not a factor in the descion.
Have you sampled both? Kobe is interesting but I wouldn't blind buy it. Ultra Male is more of a popular common scent imo.

I think Guerlain Santal Royal has some similarities if my memory serves me correctly. It’s rose instead of the raspberry in ON, though, and I remember thinking I liked ON more. Might be worth checking out, though.

I’m curious if anyone has a recommendation for me based off my current Top 5 fragrances:
Herod.
Looking for a fragrance that is woody, a stroll through a forest after it just rained. But at the same time, I don't want it to be over the top earthy or intense.
Aesop Hwyl is my favorite rainy forest scent. I think Encre Noire could also fit.
Ormonde Woman, Diptyque Tempo- I would say these two are kind of damp and herbaceous and woody
Looking for a barbershop fragrance with notes of shaving cream, leather, talcum powder, and musk.
Have you tried Replica's "At the Barber's". It's a clean scent with pretty much all the notes you described.
I am 16 and I am thinking to buy ultra male. Is it a good choice?
I'd say go for it but maybe try and get a travel size first to see if you like it
I’m (20M) looking for recommendations for my growing 5 bottle curated collection.
Vetiver: Frederic Malle - French Lover
cold definitely go withTom Ford tobacco vanille since you like tobacco. Tom ford oud wood/tobacco oud is nice too. expensive but worth it
