  6. You are missing the point. Hancock is constructing a narrative in service of a racist trope that far pre dates him. The idea that the browns couldn't possibly have made this stuff is the genesis of much of the lost ancient civilization horseshit.

  10. It's a performance contract from 2018. Teslas stock value massively increased from then and thus he qualified for the large contract payout. Note he did not get salary during this time, and if stock value had not increased he would have received little. I expect the payout was generous due to the risk and term of no salary.

  11. The "not get a salary " is a tax dodge. C suite oligarchs get paid in stock options so they can purchase and sell stock as their reimbursement. It is purely to avoid payroll tax. Pay is taxed at a much higher rate than capital gains. Stock options allow a C suite exec to buy stock at a below market price and sell it for profit. The tax rate is on those profits is only 15% regardless of the amount where as income is taxed progressively.

  12. Hard to pinpoint one event but I would say a candidate could be the Tunguska Event of 1908. This incident involved a massive explosion in Siberia, believed to be caused by the airburst of a comet or meteoroid. It flattened an estimated 80 million trees over 2,150 square kilometers, yet incredibly, it caused no confirmed human fatalities. The event’s cause remained mysterious for decades, fueling various scientific and fantastical theories, making it a prime candidate for one of the most surreal events in human history due to its scale, mystery, and the dramatic visuals it must have produced.

  16. I don't know if it is that they idolize these chuds as much as the chuds justify their sense of grevience. The actual reasons these man-boys aren't living the lives they expected are complex. The chuds make it simple and point out an enemy. What they are really asking is how do I know who to hate for my perceived slights if not for these guys.

Anyone listening to Elon talk extemporaneously can tell you that Dittmann isn't Musk. Hel isn't as stuttery and confused as Elon talking off the cuff. Musk is an idiot. He can't answer tough questions in real time.

  22. 'The Difference Engine's is a steam punk novel co written by William Gibson. In the middle of the novel, there is a weird scene where the main character engages in a night of debauchery with a prostitute. It is out of character for the rest of the novel and it is jarring.

  26. Wait...a sirloin? Like an actual sirloin steak? Am I misunderstanding? Why is it called Chicken Fried Steak?

  27. It's not sirloin. It's typically a terrible, tough cut of meat like eye of round run through a cuber so it is edible. I don't know if you have 'cube steak' in Australia, but it is meat that is too tough to eat unless stewed forever run through a machine that makes a lot of small cuts in it to make it edible without ruining your jaw muscles. It is flattened in the process. You can also do it with a meat tenderizing hammer but that's pretty uncommon these days.
